Bookings – Terms & Conditions
By making a booking with SNS Taxis Ltd, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
- Prices calculated through our online booking system are estimates. If a fare is calculated incorrectly, we reserve the right to amend the price accordingly.
- Vehicles may be substituted due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will inform you as soon as possible.
- All bookings must be pre-booked and confirmed by us either verbally, via email, or through our online booking system. All relevant details, including the quoted price, must be clearly confirmed.
- It is the client’s responsibility to check booking confirmations and ensure all details are correct. SNS Taxis Ltd accepts no responsibility for errors arising from incorrect information provided by the client.
- For bookings made within 24 hours, please get in touch with our office directly. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
- Payments must be made in accordance with our payment policy.
- Any booking amendments or cancellations must be made directly with our office via phone or email and confirmed in writing. Additional journeys, extra stops, or changes in journey times may incur extra charges.
- In the event of a “no-show”, the client will be charged the full fare plus a 10% administration fee.
- While we strive to ensure punctual service, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you where possible.
Payment Policy
- Online payments: Card payments are accepted for bookings made through our website.
- Cash payments: Cash may be paid directly to the driver on the journey date.
- Card payments: All vehicles are equipped with card machines. Payment must be made on the journey date.
- Bank transfers: Accepted upon request. Transfers must be completed at least 24 hours before the journey.
- All journeys must be paid for prior to or on the day of travel. Late or unpaid journeys may incur a 10% administration fee and additional penalty charges.
Business / Corporate Accounts
Corporate clients may receive weekly or monthly invoices based on agreement. A 10% administration fee applies. Late payments will incur penalty charges. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged at full journey cost.
Airport Transfers
For airport pickups, clients must provide:
- Contact number
- Arrival time
- Flight number
- Departure location and terminal (if applicable)
Clients must allow sufficient time for check-in and traffic delays. SNS Taxis Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by insufficient planning or passengers not being ready at the booked time.
We rely on flight information provided by the client and third-party sources and cannot be held responsible for incorrect information.
One hour of waiting time is free after the flight landing. After this, waiting time is charged at £30 per hour. Additional parking or airport fees will be charged at airport rates.
If a flight is delayed, clients must inform the office. Standby time from the original pickup time will be charged at £30 per hour, subject to driver availability.
Luggage, Passengers & Safety
Clients must provide accurate passenger and luggage details at the time of booking. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure luggage fits the booked vehicle.
- We are not responsible for incorrect vehicle allocation due to incorrect information provided by the client.
- We will not carry more passengers than permitted by licensing or insurance.
- Clients are responsible for passenger behaviour during the journey.
- All luggage and personal belongings are carried at the client’s own risk. We accept no responsibility for items left in vehicles.
Communication
Booking confirmations are sent via email or SMS. Clients must verify all details carefully.
Driver details are usually sent one day prior to travel.
Child Seats
Please note that SNS Taxis Ltd does not provide child car seats.
Cancellation & Amendment Policy
- Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required.
- Cancellations within 24 hours incur 100% of the fare.
- Cancellations outside 24 hours incur 50% of the fare.
- During the festive period (1 December – 2 January), all cancellations are charged at full fare.
- Once driver details are issued, cancellations remain chargeable.
- Special events and wedding bookings are non-refundable.
All cancellations or amendments must be made through the office, not directly with drivers.
Refund Policy
Refunds are issued only for cancellations made outside the 24-hour notice period. No refunds apply during festive periods or special event bookings.
Additional Charges
- £70 cleaning fee for vehicle soiling
- No eating, drinking, or smoking permitted
- Additional stops, tolls, congestion charges, waiting time, or damages are chargeable
- Any damage caused by passengers must be paid by the client
Other Terms
We reserve the right to provide an alternative vehicle of similar standard if required.
Quoted prices exclude additional charges such as waiting time, parking, congestion fees, or route deviations.
Complaints Policy
SNS Taxis Ltd aims to provide a professional and reliable service. Complaints help us improve our services.
Please submit complaints in writing with the following details:
- Name
- Email address
- Contact number
- Booking reference
- Journey date
- Pickup address
All complaints will be handled confidentially and in accordance with data protection regulations.
Wedding Car Hire
Wedding car hire bookings must be made via email only. Any wedding bookings made through the online system may be cancelled.
